Miniature Celluloid Images in Paper Wheel

Made by Lina Rae to fit inside some of Francis' viewing devices, she mounted celluloid images that they developed together within these wheels. When rotated, they provided a scene both realistic and familiar to Francis' single eye.

Bill adopted this format from Lina Rae for his Cycloptical work just as they started to market it to a mass audience, and it has been reappropriated by numerous companies ever since
