Sight Chart

Text and Graphics, For Children

This sight chart was used to test Francis' ability to see through his single eye at the Town of Ducan Research Facility. It was also used to determine if he could see with his only eye covered, as he was rumored among townspeople to have such mythical abilities.

This theory was quickly debunked, as Francis could not make out any of the objects displayed on the eye chart, even with the use of his eye. Bill Vernon already knew this before the tests were conducted, but he took the eye chart with him when he left the lab, because he knew that Francis did see the objects on the chart. He just saw them differently and abstractly every time. Bill used the objects in this chart as a model for his own interactive graphic tests for Francis.
