Minotaur

Acrylic, foam, felt, wood, cardboard.

Named "The Minotaur" by scholars of vision artworks, this piece sat in Francis' room throughout much of his time at the home of Bill and Warren Vernon. It remains an anomaly in his world, as it is much less abstract than his other visions. Because of this, it is doubtful that Francis is responsible for it himself, but merely inspired the work with his description of his childhood classmates.
