Chinese Take-Out Box Housing with Cloth Front

Francis found the sound from normal speakers to be too confrontational and aggressive to his vision, but he liked the tinny sound of portable and poorly made ones. Lina Rae and Bill helped him make these ones out of Chinese take-out boxes and fabric.

Francis would record his experimental sounds in his bedroom, and play them back through these. They were also sometimes embedded in the wild next to some of his wild "vision" installation artworks.
