Believed to be a crude illustration done by Francis of Warren Vernon's neckties. He wore a different one every day, and later made many of them into eye patches for Francis, so he could hide the missing eye he often felt ashamed of. Of course, it is more likely that Francis was drawing something else completely, given that he could easily mistake a necktie for a tiger, and vice versa.
